OMICRON Cases in Karnataka
World Health Organization has marked the new variant of corona virus as "Variant of Concern" and assigned the name as "OMICRON". The said variant is assumed to be more deadly than the predecessor.
Covid19 which began its devastation in late 2019 and early 2020 has seen multiple mutation in its own spears. In general, virus mutation is common but when a deadly virus mutate, it becomes a matter of concern for humanity.
Covid19 has mutations which has impacted human beings a lot. Second wave of covid19 was called as delta variant that attributes the change in spreading pattern along with impact on human protein.
Many experts have presumed that the new variant of covid19 virus is much more deadly and impactful than delta variant. Scientific researchers have given the name as B.1.1529 which is under research observations.
World Health Organization has assigned the name as OMICRCON. Scientists and researchers from all over the world are working on it to find the proper genomes sequencing and mutation spikes impact on the human protein. At the same time has shown concern that it can be deadly than previous mutation variants.
Keeping in view the cases and spreading pattern, many nations in European countries like Germany, UK, etc and from African nations like South Africa have concern of rapid spread.
Nations like Botswana, Hongkong, Belgium and Israel are also seeing the Patten of rising cases of covid19 and are under deep stress of tackling the spread and precautions to be followed.
Israel being the first nation to have complete vaccination and even provided people with booster doses, is now seeing the rising cases of virus. PM of Israel, has given remark that they are on the verge of emergency, so now world can feel the concern of rapid spread of virus and its impact of humanity.
It is observed that fully vaccinated person's are also being impacted by new variant OMICRON. But yet the complete research and details of impact to be ascertained.
India is going to start schedule international flights from 15th December 2021, Health Ministry has already issued guidelines for through checking and testing for international arrivals along with certain concerning nations.
But is the decision correct to start international flights at first place ? The cases of covid19 in India is somewhat under control but will it be giving a risk factor for third wave ?
