Asia's largest Aviation event "Wings India,2022" on civil aviation is scheduled to be organized at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad.

The biennial event will be 5th edition of its flagship kind jointly hosted by Ministry of Civil Aviation, Airport Authority of India & FICCI with in-hand cooperation from Ministry of External Affairs and many state governments.
The event would include demonstration of flights and drones, multilayer exhibitions, forum's meet and conferences, business discussion in multiple segments of the industry with all stakeholders participating and many special invitees over the globe.
Aviation industry which saw a shock during covid19 and ran through losses due to pandemic has all set to take a leap and return to pre covid19 business. The standstill ecosystem of industry during covid19 is still a huge market for national and international players. Indian aviation sector is yet untapped with potential to become third largest business by 2024.
India has a steady growth rate in past decade with double digit mark in the sector. This industry has the ability in establishing the growth and enhancing the economic development of nation. By the year 2030, world air travel will rise twice the present day as stated by ICAO. So, the sector still remains the jewel of development.
In terms of domestic traffic traveling through airlines, India has bagged 3rd spot in the list topped by USA and followed by China. Presently, the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) by Government of India under the project named UDAAN has achieved the set target and still is making path of connecting many new places. As per the lastest data released by concern ministry, 387 routes, 60+ Airports and heliports & water aerodrome are made functional.
