Indian Space Station

In the path of development, India is going to prove its capabilities in space and space exploration.

After receiving praise from the world for projects like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan. India is now getting ready to have it's own Space Station "ISS Indian Space Station" by 2030.

In a recent tweet, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister has confirmed that India will start making its own space station by 2030 and will be a very costly project.

World's first space station was Salyut 1 by USSR in 1970s. Again in 1986 USSR launched the MIR space station which was must bigger than Salyut and was also fully equipped with laboratories and research facilities.

In the year 1998, International Space Station was jointly funded by many nations like Western, European and even Russia & Japan. This International space station is considered to be most expensive man made object in history.

NASA has decided to close International Space Station by 2030 and convert it into a private space destination for space travellers.

In the race to space exploration, China has started building own space station "Tiangong" Chinese Space Station and it is almost ready for use, it has weight around 65-70 tonnes and will be operational for 10 years.

The question rises, Do India need a Space Station ? Does such vast amount needs to be spent in Space ? Why do we even need Space Station?

1. Better quality of life

During space exploration, many new and unique idea's are generated and given practical shape and those innovations are used in earth also to make our life better such as GPS, LEDs, Batteries, Wireless communications, Solar energy, Water purification, Robotics and many more.

2. Better knowledge of Human life

It's observed that our planet is one among many in solar system and Universe. To study other planets helps us to know the evolution and aspects of saving our planet. Such as Mars mission study will help us to improve earth's climate change.

3. Economic Growth

As space exploration is rising, the participation of many public and private players in related field is creating more job aspects. People are learning more Science, technology and maths.

4. Brings us closer to Earth
