1 Lakh Covid19 Cases - India Records

1 Lakh Covid19 Cases -India Records

Five fold increase in Covid19 cases were seen in India as the number rose to 117,100 cases by 7th January 2022.

This the most number of cases as the OMICRON Variant has taken over Delta Variant From December 2021 to January 2022.

India has reported One lakh cases in last year July after which the cases were low and a relief was seen in spread of virus. But Omicron has again raised the concern for administration and citizens, falling which many states have declared Lock-down and Night Shut Down.

Developed nation like USA is having an average case of 6 Lakhs per day, United Kingdom is having cases between 1-2 lakhs on average per day.  Looking at the number of cases across the world we can have a fair idea that Third Covid19 Wave is on its way and soon will have a sever impact over all nations despite of its economic size.

As per the data released by Health Ministry in India, on 7th January 2022 - 302 death cases were reported from all states and UTs. Thus raising the total count to 4,83,178 in total whereas total infection stands 38.25 Million.

Although the death cases have not reached like the Second Wave, but the infection rate is alarming the nation. Daily infection has Doubled or even tripled in the past week of 1st -7th January 2022.

This rise in spreading of infection is considered due to OMICRON variant. The Authorities have been worrying that this speed of spread of virus the country would again see Hospitals Overcrowded. This would definitely stress health care system

India having a huge population could face serious threat due to infection and patients being hospitalized. Even a small percentage of population would be an absolute numbers in real term.

Many study revels that those nations (like Israel) who gave booster dose to citizens have in-general very less hospitalization, where as nations like USA where booster does was not administered is seeing a surge in cases.

As per the study of IIT Kanpur, its predicted that the peak of Third Wave by January end-Feburary beginning 2022 and average cases would rise to nearly 3-4 Lakh cases per day

India Plans :

Nearly half of the population is fully vaccinated, nearly 1.5 Million vaccine doses has been administered.

Heard Immunity has been developed through vaccination and Delta Spread (Assumed).

Hospital are better equipped for handling cases

Many research proves that, OMICRON variant has less severity that Delta and previous variant.

More Updates on Covid19 and its impact will soon follow-on
